Homemade Bubble Tea

I randomly decided to google: How to make your own bubble tea and found a pretty good recipe :)

Honeydew is my favoriteeee right now, so I decided to make that kind of boba.

How to cook tapioca pearls:

1 cup Tapioca Pearls (Bubble Tea Supply of course)
6-8 cups water

Approximately 6-10 servings
  1. The ratio should be a minimum of 7:1, water to tapioca pearls.
  2. Boil water in a large pot.
  3. Add in the tapioca pearls to boiling water.
  4. The tapioca pearls should float in the water.
  5. Boil Bubble Tea Supply tapioca for 15 minutes with the cover on.
  6. Turn the heat off and let Bubble Tea Supply tapioca sit in the water for 15 minutes.
  7. Rinse the cooked tapioca pearls in warm water and drain out the water.
  8. Cover with bubble tea sugar syrup or brown sugar and serve.

Of course, I bought the wrong kind of tapioca pearls -_-" At H-Mart these were all they had though, so I figured they served the same purpose. I followed the directions but they were hard:( I probably did something wrong. Get the dark tapioca pearls!

How to cook Bubble Tea Sugar Syrup:

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups water
Approximately 32-35 sixteen ounce servings
  1. Mix sugar and water in a large pot.
  2. Cook at medium to high heat.
  3. Once the mixture boils remove from stove immediately.
  4. Let cool and serve.
    *Refrigerate any excess

How to make a Boba (bubble tea) Fresh Fruit Drink:

The best tasting fresh fruit drinks include strawberry, watermelon, mango, red bean (adzuki), and papaya.
    1 cup fresh fruit
    1/2 cup milk
    1 Scoop
    bubble tea sugar syrup
    1 cup ice
2 fl. oz. cup of cooked Bubble Tea Tapioca Pearls

    1. Put all ingredients except bubble tea tapioca pearls into a blender and blend well.
    2. Make sure that the fruits are grinded into the milkshake.
    3. Add bubble tea tapioca pearls to a cup, and pour your drink over.
    4. Put in your big fat bubble tea straw and enjoy.

Soo this is the end result: my honeydew boba~ The drink itself was actually very delicious! Tapioca pearls were a disappointment (considering they were the wrong ones).

Also, here's a picture of my nails. I used Essie's Turquoise & Cacaos and OPI's white shatter. I looove this teal color.
