First off, I don't have the best camera. =_= I use the Nikon Coolpix L22. I got it last April for my birthday but I regret not waiting and ordering a better quality one online. Don't get me wrong, it's a fairly decent digital camera but it can be a bit annoying.
When I was younger, my friend and I wanted to be nature photographers. We imagined us traveling to places like Alaska to take pictures of the breathtaking scenery and the adorable husky puppies. The two of us would practice by stealing my mom's camera and taking pictures of flowers. As the years went on, our interests changed. Just this Summer, I got back into photography! Although, I don't want it to be a career for me, I enjoy taking pictures and taking my camera everywhere with me.

My favorite editing programs are Picnik and Gimp. Picnik is a free online editer with some pretty cool effects :) Gimp is a free download. it's similar to Photoshop but a different layout.. and free!

i love the marshmellow face. sometimes it is more the photographer than the camera that makes the photos good.
ReplyDeleteyour pictures are very nice. i too love taking pictures. i actually have an slr that i barely ever touch. i actually depend much more on my reg. digicam to take everywhere. i think you're doing a great job keep it up i'd love t see more pics.

How did you get the light to appear between your palm and it's reflection in the window? That's a very cool picture--and I love the last one. Photograpghy is a great hobby, but I don't have the artistic ability to be any good at it. =)
