Tip: Vitamin E

I am a strong believer in having a stable and effective skin care regime but I also believe in conserving money whenever possible. A few months ago, my mom had to have surgery on her wrist. Her doctor recommended buying a bottle of Vitamin E oil as a cheap way to fade her scar from the procedure. When she was done with it, I stole it from her (Hehe ^.^) and began using it and I had amazing results!

I would apply it to cuts and scars every night before I went to bed. The oil would soften the cut and after a few days it would disappear. I did apply it to my face on a scar that I had from Kindergarten but I didn't notice any changes so the cuts have to be fairly recent, and being as clumsy as I am, I have a lot :)

My skin is normal/dry. When I feel that my face is unusually dry and flaky I like to mix a drop of the Vitamin E with my moisturizer for extra hydration. It works like a charm!
This is the bottle that I'm using and you can get it at Target for $5.29. It's 2.5 fl oz. so it lasts quite awhile!

After falling in love with the Vitamin E oil, I also bought a solid Vitamin E Stick from Sally's Beauty Supply for a dollar. It immediately reminded me of Soft Lips Chapstick in Vanilla. It has the same texture and smell. I use the vitamin e stick as a chapstick too. I like to keep it in my wallet since it's so tiny.

In comparison to Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick.

Finally, I am an avid sunblock wearer. I apply it everyday and currently, the one that I'm using for my body is the Banana Boat Ultra Defense Sheer Protect. It retails at about $10 at CVS. It caught my eye because it has Aloe Vera and Vitamins A & E included in the formula so I like to use it as a moisturizer and protector during the summer since it's spf 50.

I definitely recommend trying out Vitamen E oil either pure or in its' various forms. I hope this helped you!
